Safely and comfortably fade the appearance of skin imperfections caused by the sun, and uneven skin tones caused by brown and red spots (such as rosacea, broken capillaries, and hyperpigmentation). The combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies of this technology precisely and safely target pigmented lesions such as freckles and age spots. Vascular lesions are also lightened and gradually fade.

What to expect:

  • Treatment time varies according to the area being treated.
  • May have some redness/pinkness and swelling, which usually subsides within a few hours.
  • 3 treatments, scheduled 4-6 week apart, are recommended for best results.
  • Consults are required prior to booking treatment. 

Pre Treatment

  • Avoid the sun for 4-6 weeks before and after treatment. DO NOT come in with an active tan or sunburn.
  • Please arrive for the appointment with the area to be treated clean and if in a hair-bearing area, shaven.
  • If treating the face, stop using Retin-A (or any retinols or tretinoins), bleaching creams (hydroquinone products), or any acids on your face for 48 hours before and after treatments.

Post Treatment

  • Keep the treated area well covered and avoid sitting in any sunlight.
  • You will notice some redness and swelling of treated areas (usually looks like cat scratches). This usually resolves within a couple hours. This may feel like a slight sunburn and may itch up to a couple of days. Occasionally, a bruise may form within the first week of treatment. This should resolve within 1-2 weeks. Do keep areas of bruising protected from the sun as sun exposure may cause permanent discoloration.
  • For soothing purposes, you may apply cold aloe or cortisone cream to the areas. DO NOT apply ice to the areas as this may encourage hyperpigmentation.
  • Always wear a sunscreen when any sun exposure is possible. 30 SPF with UVA/UVB protection is best.
  • Blisters, however uncommon, may sometimes occur. IF this does occur do not allow the skin to form scabs. Keep the treated area moist with some form of ointment (bacitracin, aquafor or vaseline). We do not recommend any neomycin, products as they can cause allergic reaction after prolonged use.
  • If treatment on the face; 24 hours after treatment the skin should be ready for makeup. IF there are any open or blistered areas, do not use makeup on those areas until completely healed.
  • If you are using a bleaching cream (hydroquinone) only use at night and sun block during the day.
  • Refrain from any activities that may increase circulation to the area such as exercise, excessive heat from the sun, Jacuzzis or saunas for 1-3 days.

Laser Hair Removal

DiolazeXL is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently removes unwanted hair. DiolazeXL is a non-invasive technology that utilizes Diode laser to penetrate the skin and target hair follicles. The penetrating energy heats up the root of the hair, which prevents future hair growth in the treated area. Treatment requires a number of sessions, although the exact number of sessions is individual. Hair is reduced with each treatment, although results can typically be observed after 4 to 6 sessions. No complete clearance can be guaranteed. Maintenance sessions are required to maintain results after completion of a full series.

Typically Recommended: 7-10 treatments, spaced 4-8 weeks apart. The number of treatments needed to attain desired results varies from person to person, which is why we require a consultation prior to your first treatment.

What to expect:

  • Prior to your first treatment, you will schedule a consultation with your technician to discuss your goals and come up with a treatment plan. It is important to arrive to your consultation appointment with treatment areas UNSHAVEN. Otherwise, your consultation will be rescheduled.
  • The number of sessions required to achieve optimal results will differ depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, your hair color, hair type, body area, skin tone, and hormonal changes.
  • Treatment is most efficient on dark hair. Light blonde, red, grey, or white hairs may not respond to treatment. Most skin types can be safely treated.
  • Do not to pluck, tweeze, wax, or use hair removal creams during the 4 weeks before treatment. It is important to avoid tanning (including the sun, tanning salons, or self tanning products) before and during the treatment period.
